I can’t believe I’ve lived in Colorado for 3 years and have never been to the New Belgium Brewery. On Saturday Jenny and I headed up to Ft. Collins with Christa and Josh, who were visiting the area from Michigan. Fat Tire is one of my favorite beers in the world. I don’t know if I like the way it taste more because it has a cool label on it or if I really just like it. Before we got the brewery tour we sampled four beers and hung out in their cool building. The tour was great and so was the beer. One thing I was pretty excited to see was an airstream trailer out front. I would love to have one someday. After the tour we headed up to Estes Park and did some hiking. There were a ton of Elk up there around the town. It’s starting to get colder and I think they’re heading down. This morning there was frost on everything. I decided to work on the bikes before heading out on my ride. I’m working to get my single speed mt. bike going good since I’m shipping it out tomorrow to Michigan for the ICEMAN. I know it’s a bit early to ship it but want to make sure it gets there in time. I’m looking forward to the ICEMAN even though I just started training again and it’s less then 2 weeks away. I’m excited to race but more excited to see family and friends. Maybe I’ll see some of you there.
